Man Charged with Murder of Young Manchester Resident
Raami Mohamed, from Fairly Lane, Manchester, has been charged with the murder of 22-year-old Badri Issa. Mohamed was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Tragic Stabbing in Moss Side Shakes Community
The horror unfolded on the evening of Wednesday, October 25, when police were called to Moss Lane East in Moss Side. They found Badri Issa suffering from a fatal stab wound. Despite emergency services rushing him to the hospital, Badri later died from his injuries that same night.
Police Hunt for Answers as Investigation Continues
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Naismith from Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team confirmed that while Mohamed faces murder charges, the probe is far from over. He urged anyone with information to step forward urgently.
DCI Naismith said: “We understand it can be intimidating to come forward, but your help is vital to bringing justice for Badri’s family.”

- A second man is currently held on suspicion of murder.
- A 21-year-old man was arrested for perverting the course of justice but has now been released on bail.
