A 27-year-old man has been charged with rape after a shocking attack in Hackney. Krishnan Singh, with no fixed address, faced Thames Magistrates’ Court on December 8. He’s been remanded to Snaresbrook Crown Court, set to appear on January 6, 2026.
Shock Attack Reported in London Fields
The alleged assault took place just after 6.30pm on December 5. Police first sealed off part of Pollard Square Gardens, Whitechapel, where the crime was initially reported. But further investigation shifted the scene to London Fields in Hackney.
Victim Given Specialist Support
The victim, a woman in her 20s, is receiving expert care from specialist officers. The Metropolitan Police have made the case a top priority as inquiries continue.
