Young Man Left with Life-Changing Injuries in Shocking Leyland Crash
A young man in his 20s has been left fighting for his life after a serious collision in Leyland. Lancashire Police are urgently hunting witnesses and dashcam footage as the investigation ramps up.
Crash Details and Police Hunt Underway
The smash happened at around 7:20pm on Saturday, 4th October, on Leyland Lane near Atlas Court. A passerby found the injured man and emergency crews raced him to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Police confirmed a white Mercedes C320 was involved after checking CCTV footage. Officers have been busy grilling locals and scouring the area for clues.
Three Arrested on Dangerous Driving Charges
In a dramatic development, three suspects have been arrested: a 14-year-old boy, a 31-year-old woman, and a 41-year-old man. All face charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Despite the arrests, cops are desperate for more info and footage. They’re particularly keen to get dashcam clips from Leyland Lane between 7pm and 7:45pm on the night of the crash.
Police Issue Urgent Plea to Public
“We want to tell you about a collision that has left a man with life changing injuries in Leyland, as we appeal for your help,” said a Lancashire Police spokesperson.
Officers want anyone who saw the white Mercedes before or after the crash to come forward. They also urge the public to hold back from speculation as the investigation continues.
