Man in 30s Dies in Deadly Rochester Crash
A man in his 30s has died following a tragic collision in Rochester. The smash happened on Maidstone Road at 2am on Saturday, 1 August 2020.
Fatal Collision Involving Nissan Qashqai
The victim was involved in a crash with a brown Nissan Qashqai. Emergency services were called but the man later died at the scene.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
PC Jamie Woodhams from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit urged anyone near Maidstone Road between 1.55am and 2.15am to come forward.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at around the time of the incident. In particular, I would ask motorists driving along Maidstone Road during that time to review any dashcam footage and contact us,” said Woodhams.
“I am also interested in hearing from anyone else in the area who may have information that will assist us with our investigation.”
Arrest Made – Police Continue Probe
A man in his 30s has been arrested and remains in police custody in connection with the fatal crash.
