Police raced to St George’s Road, E10, at around 6:10pm on Wednesday after reports of gunfire echoed through the area.
Man in 20s Shot but Expected to Survive
Officers found a man in his mid-20s with a gunshot wound. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Two Arrested As Investigation Gathers Pace
The Met has set up a crime scene and launched a full investigation. So far, two suspects have been arrested, but police have kept tight-lipped on motives or further details.
