“We are out every day and night using lawful tactics such as stop and search to keep London safe,” said Detective Chief Superintendent Simon Rose, Barnet’s Borough Commander. “Do not carry a weapon, because we will identify you and bring you to justice.”
The operation was part of a wider effort by borough officers and the Violent Crime Taskforce to disrupt criminal activity and tackle violence across London.
