Convicted Murderer Philip Theophilou on the Run from East London Mental Health Unit
Police are in a frenzy searching for Philip Theophilou, 54, who has vanished from a mental health facility in east London. The convicted killer escaped on Sunday, March 31, from the Homerton centre and hasn’t been seen since.
Theophilou’s Criminal Past
Theophilou was convicted over the 2004 death of Simon Breed, a 51-year-old builder. While he denied murder, he admitted manslaughter claiming diminished responsibility.
Last Known Whereabouts and Warning
On the day of the escape, Theophilou was spotted near Green Park at around 11:25am. Witnesses report he was wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans, a black jacket, and another black jumper underneath.
Authorities are increasingly worried as Theophilou does not have access to his medication, raising fears over public safety.
