Murder Probe Launched After Teen Stabbed in West End
A brutal stabbing near Oxford Street has sparked a murder investigation, as police hunt for witnesses.
Teen Stabbed at Market Place
Officers rushed to Market Place at 5.38pm on Saturday, 8 August after reports of an assault. They found a teenage male with a stab wound.
The victim was rushed to a central London hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead at 7.33pm. His next of kin have been informed, but formal ID is still pending.
Three Arrested as Homicide Team Takes Over
Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime Command have taken charge of the investigation. So far, three men have been arrested. Enquiries are ongoing.
