Plumber Caught Installing Spy Camera in Woman’s Toilet – Secretly Filmed Others Too!
Shocking Spycam Discovery During Routine Plumbing Job
James Hulme, 57, was hired to fix plumbing at a woman’s home in Clifton. But instead of just tightening pipes, he secretly planted a spy camera in the downstairs toilet to film her – and was caught red-handed when she spotted the hidden device.
Twisted Voyeur Had Dozens of Victims
Police swiftly arrested Hulme after he tried to flee with the camera. Investigations revealed he had filmed at least five or six other customers by hiding cameras in their bathrooms, exploiting their trust during routine plumbing work.
Horrific Additional Crimes Uncovered
When officers searched Hulme’s home in Sherwood, they found a terrifying stash of 302 indecent images of children and illegal images showing animals abusing humans. Hulme admitted to voyeurism, making indecent child images, and possessing extreme pornographic pictures.
Justice Served: Hulme Jailed for 12 Months
At Nottingham Crown Court on 27 October, Hulme was sentenced to 12 months in prison. Detective PC Jonathan Cooper slammed Hulme’s actions as a “gross breach of trust” and warned that this sentence should send a message to other voyeurs and abusers.
“This was a gross breach of trust and invasion of privacy in a pre-meditated manner for his own sexual gratification,” said PC Cooper. “Hulme will have to live with this shame for the rest of his life.”
The officer also highlighted the devastating impact of these crimes on victims and stressed the importance of protecting vulnerable children worldwide from similar abuse.
