Man Stabbed to Death in Thornhill Home
Mark Noke, 64, was fatally stabbed in the chest at his home on Warburton Road, Thornhill, in the early hours of Saturday, 25 February.
Multiple Arrests Made as Police Probe Murder
- A 29-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but has since been released on bail.
- A 25-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of murder but released without charge.
- A 27-year-old woman from Gosport, arrested on 17 March for assisting an offender, remains on police bail.
- Six men aged between 20 and 31 were arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed as part of the ongoing investigation.
- A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender is also released on bail.
Police Seize Vehicle and Issue Urgent Appeal
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb said:
“We are following all lines of enquiry into Mark’s death. A vehicle believed to be involved in the crime has been seized. We continue to act on intelligence from the public.” “We urgently seek information on the whereabouts of Leighton Tabone. Anyone harbouring him faces arrest for criminal offences.” “No tip is too small. Any detail could be crucial to delivering justice for Mark’s family.”
