Pair Jailed for Sickening Torture of Two Women in Birmingham
Brutal Abuse Uncovered in Shocking Case
A man and woman have been locked up after subjecting two women to horrific abuse and torture. Mohammed Kasim Khan, 24, and Imaan Coley, 37, were sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on March 17 for a string of violent attacks described by police as “truly horrific.”
Coley, formerly known as Rochelle, was found guilty of imprisoning one victim in a Birmingham home. The woman endured months of savage assaults, forced to drink bleach and even had her hair set on fire. After escaping, she sought urgent medical help, triggering a major police probe.
Second Victim Reveals Five-Hour Ordeal
Detectives uncovered a second victim who suffered a terrifying five-hour nightmare at the hands of both Coley and Khan. The woman was forced to drink bleach and eat cat food, and was even urinated on. She sustained multiple injuries, including a broken eye socket.
- Coley was found guilty of grievous bodily harm with intent, administering poison, false imprisonment, burglary, and multiple assaults. She was sentenced to 18 years behind bars.
- Khan, initially on the run, turned himself in after a public police appeal. He pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm, administering poison twice, and burglary, and was sentenced to 15 years.
Police Praise Victims’ Courage and Public Support
“This was a case of truly horrific physical and psychological abuse inflicted on two vulnerable women over an extended period. What they endured was utterly inhumane and dehumanizing,” said Detective Constable Victoria McNulty from West Midlands Police’s Exploitation Team.
“Both victims suffered severe trauma and are bravely rebuilding their lives with support. I hope their knowing that these violent individuals are behind bars brings them justice and starts their healing.”
West Midlands Police thanked the public for their vital help in locating Khan, emphasising their ongoing fight against abuse. Anyone affected is urged to seek help. In emergencies, call 999 immediately.
