Woman in her 20s hit by bus in Eden Street crash

Police rushed to Eden Street around 8:50am on Monday, May 20, following reports of a bus colliding with a pedestrian.

Woman Hospitalised but Stable

London Ambulance Service attended the scene. The woman, in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Her next of kin have been informed.

Driver Arrested and Bailed

The bus driver was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene. They have been bailed pending further investigations.

Police Investigate – Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the incident. Witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the crash are urged to contact police on 020 8543 5157 or 101, quoting CAD 1733/20MAY2024.
