Brutal City Centre Beating: Hunt On for Eleven Witnesses in Nottingham

Nottingham cops are on the case after a 26-year-old man was left in critical condition following a savage attack in the city centre. The victim was reportedly punched and knocked to the ground at around 3.35am on Saturday 5 March, near the junction of Upper Parliament Street and Trinity Walk.

Police Release Images of Eleven Key Witnesses

Detectives have launched a full investigation and urgently want to speak to eleven more people believed to hold vital info about the serious assault. Police have released their images and are begging the public for help.

Suspects Charged and Bailed

  • A 21-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
  • A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and later bailed.

Detective Pleads for Public’s Help

“It is incredibly important that we speak with these people pictured as soon as possible as we believe they may have vital information that could help us with our investigation,” said Detective Inspector Chris Berryman of Nottinghamshire Police. “Our thoughts remain with the young man and his family and friends at this really upsetting time. We are doing everything we can to piece together what happened.” “If anyone recognises any of the people pictured, I would urge them to come forward and speak to us by calling 101, or Crimestoppers. Any information, no matter how small, could greatly benefit our investigation and help bring those responsible to justice.”
