Man charged with murder after brutal Upper Street attack
Detectives have charged a man following the deadly stabbing of a 30-year-old on Upper Street, Islington. Reece Daniel Williams, 26, was arrested on Friday, May 25, and now faces murder charges.
Williams remains in custody and is set to appear at Haringey Magistrates Court on Monday, May 28. Police continue to hunt witnesses to this shocking daylight attack.
Brutal Broad Daylight Assault
Detective Chief Inspector Whellams described the attack as “brutal” and happening on a busy street in broad daylight. He urged anyone who saw the assault to come forward.
“We want to hear from anyone who was nearby and may have filmed the incident on their phones or dash cams. Your footage could be crucial in piecing together what led to this young man’s death,” he said.
