Police swooped on a Worksop home after a man was brutally attacked inside. The victim suffered facial injuries but they are not life-threatening.

Third Arrest Made in Anston Avenue Assault

A 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday, 29 April 2022, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He’s now out on conditional bail as the investigation continues.

This marks the third arrest connected to the case. Earlier, two men aged 42 and 20 were held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, shortly after the attack on 15 April 2022. Both were also released on conditional bail.

Police Take Tough Stance on Violence

“It is extremely important that everyone knows that this type of behaviour is completely unacceptable,” said Detective Sergeant Georgina Gallagher of Nottinghamshire Police. “We will always do everything in our power to keep this violence off our streets.”
