Teen Left Fighting for Life After Worthing Attack
A 16-year-old boy is in a serious, life-threatening condition following a violent incident on Liverpool Road, Worthing, at around 5.30pm on February 13.
He remains hospitalised as police race to piece together what happened.
Five Teen Boys Arrested So Far
Officers initially arrested two teens but have since nabbed three more boys linked to the attack.

Section 60 Powers Extended to Curb Violence
Police have extended a Section 60 order for 24 hours in Worthing town centre. This gives officers the right to stop and search anyone without suspicion and seize weapons on the spot.
Refusal to comply with searches will be treated as a criminal offence.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“We are continuing to make progress with our investigation into this incident, with five boys arrested and three currently in custody,” said West Sussex local policing Superintendent Nicholas Dias.
“This was a distressing incident, and I encourage witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to come forward and report it to us.”
“The Section 60 order is a short-term measure to disrupt these incidents and will remain in place for the next 24 hours.”
“We continue to tackle anti-social behaviour linked to a small group of youths in Worthing, working with local council and Children’s Services to keep communities safe.”
