£20,000 Reward After Fatal Harrods Stabbing – Police Release CCTV of Suspects

Detectives hunting the killers of Mohammed Al-Araimi have released CCTV images of two men they desperately want to ID. Mohammed, a King’s College student, was fatally stabbed near Harrods on 5 December 2019. His friend, injured in the same brutal attack, survived.

Attack on Students in Knightsbridge

The pair had just left a restaurant on Pavilion Road, Knightsbridge, and were walking along Basil Street towards Sloane Street when they were ambushed by the two suspects shortly before midnight. The violent assault was described by police as a “planned robbery.”

Police Appeal and Key CCTV Footage

DCI Andy Partridge, leading the investigation, urged the public to help identify the men caught on CCTV walking around Knightsbridge just after midnight on 6 December 2019. He revealed the suspects came on foot from the Edgware Road/Marble Arch area, hinting at their possible connections there.

“The attack on Mohammed and his friend was truly shocking and extremely violent. I am convinced the public can name these two men,” said DCI Partridge. “There is a substantial reward on offer, and all information will be treated in strict confidence.”

  • Mohammed died at the scene on Brompton Road shortly after midnight, confirmed by a post-mortem as caused by a stab wound.
  • His friend was hospitalised but has since been discharged.
