Police are hunting witnesses after a 34-year-old man was viciously attacked and robbed in Northgate Car Park on Wednesday, 5 February, just before 4pm. The victim sustained facial injuries during the assault.
Thief Steals Cash and Destroys Phone
Along with the brutal attack, the man’s mobile phone was smashed, and a sum of cash was stolen. The incident has left the community shaken.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
Officers quickly acted, arresting a 45-year-old man from Bognor on suspicion of robbery. He has since been released on conditional bail pending further investigation.
