Chief Inspector Issues Warning on Knife Crime
“Our teams work tirelessly to reduce instances of serious violence, keep our city safe and bring offenders to justice,” said Chief Inspector Dee Wells.
Wells stressed that the police are working with partners to educate young people on the dangers of carrying knives. “Carrying a knife doesn’t make you safer. It puts you and those around you at greater risk.”
She urged the public to report any info on knife crime or serious violence via the official channels or anonymously at fearless.org.
