Sarah Everard’s Killer Denies Exposing Himself Four Times

Wayne Couzens, the Metropolitan Police officer convicted of killing Sarah Everard, has pleaded not guilty to four counts of indecent exposure. The 49-year-old stands accused of flashing in Swanley, Kent, in early 2021, months before the tragic murder.

Four Shocking Counts from 2021

Couzens faces allegations of “intentionally exposing his genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm and distress.” The incidents reportedly took place in January and February 2021.

Jury Trial at the Old Bailey

Though the case could have been settled at a magistrates’ court, Couzens opted for a jury trial last month. He appeared via video link from Frankland Prison in Durham on Tuesday, firmly denying the charges.

From Police Officer to Convicted Killer

Couzens, hailing from Deal, Kent, is already serving a whole-life sentence for the kidnap, rape, and murder of 33-year-old marketing executive Sarah Everard in March 2021. This new case adds another dark chapter to his criminal history.
