Medway Drug Bust: Three Arrested in Major Crack and Heroin Raid
A big police crackdown has shaken Medway’s drug scene. Officers swooped on three properties in a coordinated raid targeting crack cocaine and heroin dealers.
Massive Seizure and Arrests
On Thursday, 30 January 2025, police executed search warrants simultaneously across three locations under the Misuse of Drugs Act. They hauled in phones, cash, and herbal cannabis during the swoop.
Three men face serious drug charges:
- Caleb Griffiths, 23, Bridge Road, Gillingham
- Jacob Laws, 22, Tennyson Avenue, Cliffe Woods
- Sam Gilbert, 18, Bettescombe Road, Rainham
All three are charged with being involved in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine between 30 November 2024 and 30 January 2025. Jacob Laws also faces charges for cannabis possession and possessing criminal property related to the seized cash.
Facing Justice
The suspects appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 31 January 2025. They were remanded in custody ahead of a maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court hearing set for Friday, 28 February 2025.
