Serial Flasher Jailed for Four Years After Southampton Spree
Daniel Randall-Coles, 25, from Millbrook Road West, was locked up for four years today at Southampton Crown Court. The 25-year-old had pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault and indecent touching against women and girls.
15 Counts of Sexual Assault and More
Randall-Coles admitted to 15 sexual assault charges and two counts of assault on a girl under 13. His creepy crime spree terrorised Southampton’s Lordshill, city centre, and surrounding areas between January 26 and 31.
Rider on Black Bike Targets Victims
Each attack followed the same disturbing pattern. Randall-Coles, cycling a black bike and clad in fluorescent clothing, rode alongside victims and groped them over their clothes. Targets ranged from an 11-year-old schoolgirl to a 57-year-old woman.
Police Appeal Leads to Swift Arrest
Police pieced the case together from dozens of reports and CCTV footage. After a public appeal and image release, Randall-Coles handed himself in at Southampton Central Police Station on January 31—less than 24 hours after the police appeal.
“Randall-Coles was brazen and arrogant in his approach, targeting victims from 11 to 57 years old for his own gratification,” said Detective Sergeant Matt Barcraft-Barnes. “We hope today’s sentencing gives the victims some closure.”
