Police are on the lookout for the rightful owners of seven suspected stolen bicycles recovered from a Gillingham address.
Seven Push Bikes Seized from St Albans Close Property
On Monday 18 December 2023, officers swooped on a property in St Albans Close, Gillingham, seizing seven push bikes. The haul includes popular brands like Boardman, Specialized, Canyon, and Dunlop.
Police Appeal for Information to Return Bikes and Aid Investigation
Police want help identifying the owners to return the bikes and to support an ongoing theft investigation. Anyone who recognises any of the bicycles or has information should call the North Kent appeals line on 01634 792209. Quote reference 46/XY/19473/23.
Proof of ownership may be needed, including serial numbers, receipts, or personal photos showing the bike.
Man Arrested and Bailed Pending Further Enquiries
A 39-year-old man is in police custody, arrested over the thefts. He is currently on bail until 15 March 2024 while investigations continue.
