A 17-year-old boy is battling for his life after a brutal machete attack in Felpham on Friday night.
Teen Slashed Near Felpham Way Field
Emergency crews rushed to a field off Felpham Way, close to the Southdowns pub, at around 8:50pm on 16 May after reports of a violent assault.
The teenager from Worthing was found with critical injuries. An air ambulance airlifted him to hospital, where he remains under specialist care.
Two Boys Arrested Over Machete Attack
Sussex Police acted swiftly, launching a manhunt and arresting two teenage boys from Bognor Regis, aged 15 and 17, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both suspects are currently held in police custody as detectives dig deeper into the attack.

Detectives urgently urge anyone who witnessed the assault, or has dashcam or mobile phone footage, to come forward.
