A teenager has been charged following the gruesome stabbing of a young man in Plashet Park, East London. The violent attack happened on Saturday, July 27, with police called to the scene at around 7:38 PM after reports of a fight.

Officers found the victim, named Maroof, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics tried desperately to save him, but Maroof sadly died at the scene.
Suspect in Court, Family Supported by Police
The teenager charged remains anonymous due to legal reasons. They appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court and will next face the Old Bailey on Tuesday, September 3.
