Tragic Sarah’s Family Pleads for Help as Murder Investigation Intensifies

Family’s Heartbreaking Tribute

The family of Sarah, formally unidentified pending confirmation, made a moving plea yesterday, Thursday 11 March. “Our beautiful daughter Sarah was taken from us,” they said. “We are appealing for any information that will help solve this terrible crime.”

They described Sarah as “bright and beautiful” — a wonderful daughter and sister. “She was kind, thoughtful, caring, and dependable. She always put others first and had the most amazing sense of humour.”

“Sarah was strong and principled, a shining example to us all. We are very proud of her. She brought so much joy to our lives,” the family added.

They extended thanks to friends and the community for their support. “We especially thank Sarah’s friends who are working tirelessly to help.”

“We are so grateful to the police and urge the public to come forward with any information. No detail is too small. Please speak to the police.”

Man Arrested Is Serving Metropolitan Police Officer

A man in his 40s, a serving Met police officer, was arrested on Tuesday evening, 9 March, on suspicion of kidnapping and murdering Sarah. He remains in custody at a London police station after a magistrate extended his detention.

Alongside him, a woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released on bail, expected back at the station in mid-April.

Police have confirmed that both the family and Sarah’s friends are being supported by specialist officers during this devastating time.

Investigation Led by Specialist Crime Detectives

The probe is being driven by Specialist Crime detectives from the Met, drawing on hundreds of officers’ expertise. Kent Police are also lending vital support to the investigation.

Authorities continue to urge anyone with information to come forward immediately to aid their work. The public’s help could prove crucial in bringing justice for Sarah.
