Teen Thieves Nabbed in Kent Car Burglary Spree!
Kent Police have cracked down hard on a rash of rural burglaries targeting vehicles. Their efforts have led to two teenagers being charged following a spate of thefts.

The trouble kicked off in the early hours of Wednesday, April 10, 2024, when a Volkswagen was stolen from a property in the countryside. This was just the start of a string of vehicle thefts rattling the area.
Suspects Caught Fast
Kent Police’s Crime Squad launched a swift investigation. Their hard work paid off when three teens were arrested on Tuesday, April 16.
Patrick Harty, 18, from Kettering, Northamptonshire, and a 16-year-old boy—who remains unnamed due to legal restrictions—have both been charged with conspiracy to burgle. They are set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 18.
A 14-year-old boy arrested alongside them has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
