Pervert Pair Jailed for 21 Years Over Child Sex Crimes
Police have welcomed the sentencing of a man and woman handed a combined total of 21 years behind bars for horrific sexual offences against a child.
Scott Geraghty, 31, was sentenced at Crown Court on Thursday, 4 April, alongside his female accomplice. Both will sign the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely and face restraining orders to protect their victim.

The court also imposed restraining orders to keep the victim safe from further harm, ensuring the pair stay away for good.

“Geraghty and Dixon’s crimes have caused immeasurable pain and suffering. We have detectives specially trained to deal with these serious crimes and support victims throughout,” said Detective Sergeant Rebecca Igglesden.
“If you’ve suffered sexual abuse or know a child who has, please come forward. We take all reports seriously and have trained officers ready to treat you with sensitivity and compassion.”
