Two Men Facing Terror Charges at Old Bailey

Two men were charged with terrorism offences at the Old Bailey on Friday, 14 August. Sahayb Aweys Munye Abu, 27, from east London, faces charges of preparing terrorist acts under the Terrorism Act 2006.

Muhamed Aweys Munye Abu, 31, from south London, was charged with failing to disclose information about terrorism, violating the Terrorism Act 2000.

Linked Cases to Be Tried Together

The court formally joined their cases, meaning both men will be tried in the same hearing. Both appeared on remand and are due back at the Old Bailey on 23 November for a pre-trial preparation hearing.

A provisional trial date has been set for 25 January 2021.
