Charged After UK Murder Arrests in Kenya
Siyad Mohamud, 23, and Tariq Montiero, 21, both with no fixed address, were arrested in Kenya before being flown back to the UK on Sunday, 31 January. They face murder charges over the brutal killing of a 16-year-old boy.
Court Appearances and Custody
The duo appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court the very next day, Monday, 31 January. Both were remanded in custody ahead of a key hearing at the Old Bailey scheduled for Wednesday, 2 February.
