Two Men Face Hate Crime Charges Over Airport Flight Incident
Lee Carey and Jak Bruce Charged
Lee Carey, 55, from Brentwood Road, Romford, and Jak Bruce, 31, from Watchgate, Dartford, have been charged with racially or religiously aggravated harassment under Section 4A of the Public Order Act.
Incident on Flight Sparks Court Case
The alleged offence occurred on a departing flight from 1 Airport on 4 November 2021. Both men have been released on bail pending their court appearance.
Court Date Set
Carey and Bruce are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 12 April, where they will face the charges.
