Burglar Duo Busted in East Hull
Mason Donkin, 21, and Jordan Morgan, 20, have been locked up for a string of burglaries in East Hull. Donkin, of no fixed address, was sentenced at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 6 November, to five years and four months behind bars. His partner-in-crime Morgan, from St Johns Grove, was handed 45 months in a young offenders institution.
Burglary Spree Hits Four Homes
Donkin confessed to breaking into four homes, with Morgan involved in three of them. The pair stole bank cards and cash before going on local shopping sprees using the stolen bank cards. Their greed targeted vulnerable residents, leaving victims terrified in their own homes.
Police Slam ‘Inexcusable’ Crime
Detective Sergeant Andy Bradley said: “It is clear these men preyed on the homes of vulnerable people in our community out of their own greed.”
“They were intent on taking what wasn’t theirs from hard-working people in East Hull; behaviour that is totally inexcusable.”
“Burglary is a very violating offence that can lead victims terrified to be in their own home.”
“No-one should be made to feel that way, which is why we take reports of this nature incredibly seriously.”
“I am glad to see that these two are now behind bars, and I hope this goes some way in making the victims feel safer.”
