Two people have been charged in connection with the theft of medical equipment from a paramedic’s medical bag in Widnes.
Arrests and Charges
- Nicola Fargin, 45, of no fixed abode, and Peter Lunt, 55, of Eversley, Widnes, were arrested on Saturday, 11 January, following reports of stolen medical equipment.
- Both suspects have been charged with theft from a person.
- Lunt has also been charged with possession of a Class B drug (diazepam).
Court Appearance
- Fargin and Lunt have been released on bail.
- They are scheduled to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 31 January 2025.

Cheshire Police confirmed that investigations remain ongoing and urged anyone with further information to come forward.
