Duo Nabbed Over Car Thefts and Foil-Lined Theft Gear in Rochester
Car Crime Spree Rocks Rochester and Higham
Duncan Fagg, 43, and Shelligh Kirchin, 41, both from Matthews Way, Rochester, stand accused of nicking a car from an Allhallows address on 4 November. Just days later, on 7 November, they reportedly swiped a registration plate from a parked car in Higham.
Foil-Lined Bag Raises Suspicions of Shoplifting
Police say the pair were also caught with a foil-lined bag—commonly used by shoplifters to foil security tags—suggesting wider criminal activity.
Fagg Faces Additional Charges After Dramatic Chase
Fagg is not only charged with motor vehicle theft, but also linked to a high-speed police chase across Chatham on 20 October. He faces multiple counts of dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
Court Dates Set: Fagg Remanded, Kirchin on Bail
- Fagg is remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 9 November. He remains in custody and is due at Maidstone Crown Court on 7 December.
- Kirchin has been released on bail and is scheduled to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 11 December.
