Drugs Bust in St Peter’s Street: Two Arrested

On Tuesday 19 March 2024, police on patrol in St Peter’s Street spotted suspicious behaviour and moved in for a search.

Heroin, Cocaine and a Meat Cleaver Seized

The search uncovered 35 wraps of suspected heroin and cocaine, along with a meat cleaver and three mobile phones. Two people were arrested on the spot.

Charged with Multiple Drug Offences

  • Zachary Dempster, 29, of St Peter’s Street
  • Tulane Sharp, 46, of no fixed address

Both have been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, plus three counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Hearing

The pair appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 March. They have been remanded in custody and are due back at maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 15 April.
