Teen Thieves Nabbed After Early Morning Car Heist in Kent
Kent Police swooped at the crack of dawn after a burglary in Willesborough rocked a quiet neighbourhood. At around 2.35am on Monday 29 January, officers were called to a property on The Street. A car, keys, wallet, and two mobile phones had vanished.
Car Chase Ends With Arrest in Aylesford
The stolen vehicle was tracked to Forstal Road, Aylesford, where police arrested a 16-year-old boy at 3.20am. The car and the missing items were all recovered.
Second Teen Charged in Burglary Spree
The suspect, from Strood, faces charges of burglary, attempted burglary, and aggravated vehicle taking. The very next day, a second 16-year-old from Basildon, Essex, was hit with the same charges.
Youth Court Trial Looms
Both teens have been remanded in custody. They are due to appear before Medway Youth Court on 7 February 2024.
