Police Hunt Camden Murder Suspect After Christmas Killing
Detectives are on the hunt for Arlind Hashani, 20, wanted in connection with the brutal stabbing murder of 29-year-old Ahmed Jama in Camden, just days after Christmas.
Ahmed Jama Fatally Stabbed Near Abbey Estate
The shocking attack took place at around 7:32pm on Friday, 29 December near Gaymead on the Abbey Estate, Abbey Road. Ahmed was found with multiple stab wounds. Despite life-saving efforts from officers and paramedics, he tragically died later that evening at 9:55pm.
Multiple Arrests Made as Hunt for Hashani Intensifies
Police made several arrests in the days following the murder. On 4 January, a 21-year-old man was held on suspicion of murder. Then on 7 January, a 25-year-old was arrested for assisting an offender. Two more 25-year-olds were snapped up on 17 January on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. All four suspects have since been released on bail as investigations continue.
Detectives Warn: Arlind Hashani Is Dangerous
“We urgently need to trace the whereabouts of Arlind Hashani. He is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached,” said Detective Chief Inspector Neil Rawlinson, lead investigator on the case.
