Driver Faces Sentencing at Old Bailey
Challen appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday (July 31), pleading guilty to causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving. He is set to be sentenced at the Old Bailey, with the date still to be confirmed. This admission brings some closure to a case that has shaken the local community.
Tributes Pour In for Brian Rayner
Brian was remembered as a “well-respected and loved rugby coach and player.” His son Aaron paid a heartfelt tribute, saying: “He was a family man first and was always helping anyone he could. There is a lot I could say about him.”
The devastating crash took place around 6:30am, and Brian was pronounced dead at 7:16am.
