Teen Stabber Locked Up for Six Years

Marcel Gordon, 19, from Garsmouth Way, Watford, was sentenced to six years for a savage stabbing/" title="Stabbing" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">stabbing at Maeme’s chicken shop on 23 July 2024. Convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent and carrying an offensive weapon, Gordon’s attack seriously injured a man in his 20s, sending shockwaves through the town.

Gunfire Chaos Rocks A41 and Meriden Way Park

The violence escalated on 25 July when a disturbance erupted at Meriden Way park in the afternoon. Later that day, a terrifying shootout unfolded on the A41. A man on an e-bike was caught in the crossfire from a black BMW. He was critically wounded but has thankfully made a full recovery after emergency hospital treatment.

Youth Passenger Behind the Gun Gets Seven Years

A 17-year-old Watford boy, caught as a passenger in the BMW during the shooting, was convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a firearm. Although acquitted of attempted murder, he faces seven years behind bars.

Driver Charged with Attempted Murder

Hekmat Galmne, 27, from Village Way, Pinner, was found guilty of attempted murder and possessing a firearm intending to endanger life. The court heard he allegedly fired the fatal shot. Galmne awaits sentencing on 13 February 2026.

Retaliation Rider Gets a Decade Inside

Carlito Dujon, 21, from Dodd Road, Watford, was slapped with a whopping 10-year sentence. He was convicted for firing a retaliation shot from a separate e-bike on the same day. Charges included possession of an imitation firearm to cause fear, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and carrying a bladed weapon.

More Sentences for Violent Disorder

  • Marcel Gordon also received 18 extra months for violent disorder at Meriden Way park, bringing his total to seven and a half years.
  • Desmond Bonato, 20, from Raphael Drive, Watford, was jailed for 18 months after pleading guilty to violent disorder.
