Teen Left Fighting for Life After Sittingbourne Motorbike Crash

A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after a serious collision with a motorbike at a busy Sittingbourne junction.

Crash Details and Arrests

Kent Police were called at 10:42am on 16 April 2020 to Tonge Road at Portland Avenue following the crash. The teenager suffered severe head injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital.

Two men from Sittingbourne have been arrested in connection with the incident. A 21-year-old faces charges of dangerous driving, theft of a motor vehicle, and driving without a licence or insurance. Meanwhile, a 29-year-old man is held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop after the accident. Both remain in custody.
