Woman Attacked in Broad Daylight on Sandgate Road
At around 9.20am on Tuesday 9 March 2021, a woman was walking along Sandgate Road when a man she knew began shouting at her in the street. The argument quickly turned nasty, with the man spitting at her before landing a punch to her face.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
Kent Police arrested a 32-year-old man from Folkestone at the scene on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on police bail until 31 March 2021 while investigations continue.
Witnesses Urged to Speak Up
