Two Men Busted for Greggs Burglary in Worthing

Police have charged two men after a break-in at a Greggs bakery in Worthing.

Alarm Raised at 4am

Officers were called when an alarm sounded at the Montague Street Greggs just after 4am on Sunday, 9 October. A stash of cash was reported stolen from the premises.

Suspects Nabbed and Charged

  • Patrick Knight, 51, and Robert May, 48 – both with no fixed address – were arrested at Worthing railway station on 17 October.
  • Both men face burglary charges.
  • Knight has been released on bail.
  • May remains in custody, set to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 25 January.
