Drugs Bust Rocks Basingstoke as Cops Raid Four Addresses
Police from the Northern Serious and Organised Crime Unit, backed by local Neighbourhood Teams, swooped on four homes across Basingstoke. The raids targeted addresses on Ponds Close, Overton Sapley Lane, Oceania Crescent, and Bourdillion Gardens.
Man Arrested After Major Class A and B Drug Haul
A 54-year-old man from Overton was slammed with suspicion of Class A drug supply. He’s currently locked up in custody. Officers seized a stash of Class A and B drugs along with a haul of cash during the operation.
Chief Inspector Vows to Crack Down on Drug Crime
“We’re dead serious about tackling drug crime in Basingstoke,” said Chief Inspector Matthew Reeves. “These warrants and arrests are part of our ongoing fight against Class A dealers.”
“Drug dealing wrecks families and communities. It’s often tied to violence and other crime. We’ll keep smashing these operations based on intelligence to protect our neighbourhoods.”
