Police were called to Station Road, Upper Broughton, on Sunday 20 February after reports that an agricultural trailer had been stolen from a local property. Officers quickly swung into action following fresh intelligence.

During a search at a property on Chapel Lane, Willoughby on the Wolds, police recovered the missing trailer. A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft. He has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
Police Pledge To Protect Farmers’ Livelihoods
“Thefts like these can be devastating for victims,” said Sergeant James Ross from Nottinghamshire Police. “The equipment is expensive, and these trailers often belong to farmers or family-run businesses. Losing them disrupts farm work and livelihoods.”
“We’re committed to tackling rural crime and encourage anyone with information to call 101 or speak to local officers. Our investigation is ongoing.”
Anyone with information should quote incident 445 of 20 February 2022 when contacting police.
