Tragic Tree Fall on Darley Street Claims Life
Police rushed to Darley Street at around 3.30pm on Thursday, 6 October after reports of a fallen tree. The emergency response quickly revealed a horror scene with two men injured.
One Dead, One Injured After Tree Collapse
Paramedics found a 26-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. Despite desperate efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after. Another man suffered injuries, thankfully not life-threatening. Both victims are being supported by specially trained officers during this heartbreaking time.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Doorbell Footage
Detectives from Trafford are appealing for anyone who was in the area or has doorbell camera footage to come forward. They want to understand exactly how the tree came crashing down.
