Serious Crash in Hambleton: Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on Shard Road, near Hambleton Garden Centre.
The crash happened at 3.59pm on June 25, involving a Volkswagen Touran and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
Man in 70s Seriously Hurt
The motorcyclist, a man in his 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital. Miraculously, the Touran driver escaped unscathed.
“This collision has left a man with some extremely serious injuries,” said Sgt Steve Hardman from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit. “My thoughts are with him and his loved ones at this time.”
“We are investigating the full circumstances surrounding the collision. I urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.”
