PCSO Arrested Over Shocking Video
Police have swooped after a disturbing video surfaced online late on Wednesday, 30 March, putting a PCSO from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command firmly in the spotlight. The officer remains in custody as the investigation heats up.
Commander Speaks Out
Commander Kyle Gordon, head of the unit, slammed the incident as “absolutely shocking” and “contrary to everything we stand for.” He said:
“I am absolutely horrified and saddened by incidents such as this, as are all decent officers and staff.”
The Met reacted swiftly, acting “immediately” after the video came to light just before 11:30pm. Officers worked through the night, leading to an early morning arrest.
Investigation Underway
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards is leading the probe, with a referral sent to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. While key details remain under wraps due to the ongoing criminal investigation, the Met promises transparency as the case unfolds.
