Kent Police swooped on a High Street property after a tip-off about suspected drug activity on March 22, 2023. Their raid uncovered a full-scale cannabis cultivation operation.

Officers confiscated all the plants and smashed the growing setup. No arrests have been made yet, but inquiries are ongoing.

Police Crack Down on Cannabis Farm

Detective Sergeant Vanessa Law warned locals about the wider dangers linked to such grows. She said, “Cultivations generally bring other criminal activity to a community, from local drug dealing to the abuse of vulnerable people used to grow the plants.”

Call the Cops if You Suspect Drug Crime

DS Law urged the public to stay vigilant. “If people suspect there is drug-related criminality taking place near them, we urge them to report it via the Kent Police website or by calling 999 if a crime is in progress, so our officers can take action.”
