Man Attacked by E-Scooter Rider in Hastings Scramble

Police are hunting for info after a 61-year-old man was assaulted just before 7.10pm on Friday, October 7, in Grand Parade, Hastings.

Collision Sparks Violent Incident

The drama started when the victim collided with a man on an e-scooter along the Promenade. A heated verbal row broke out, and the two men went their separate ways.

But the trouble wasn’t over. The e-scooter rider came back and attacked the victim as he walked along Grand Parade.

Minor Injuries, Major Appeal

The victim was rushed to hospital with minor injuries. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue and white checked shirt.
