Motorcyclist Left Fighting for Life After Shocking Isle of Wight Crash
Hampshire police’s collision investigation unit are on the case after a terrifying smash left a 27-year-old biker with life-threatening injuries on the Isle of Wight.
Early Morning Horror in Lake
Emergency crews were scrambled at 2.23am on Saturday following a call from ambulance staff. The crash happened on Sandown Road at the tricky junction with Cemetery Road in Lake. The injured rider was rushed to Southampton General Hospital with multiple broken bones.
Police Hunting Witnesses and Clues
Investigators are probing whether the crash involved other vehicles or was a solo incident. They are urgently appealing for anyone who saw a Honda motorbike in the area before or during the collision to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating the circumstances of a collision that left a motorcyclist with serious life-threatening injuries.”
